Barnum was born after an evening of a few too many.
After 15 years in the music industry, we wanted to go back to our roots: creating and writing music.
Our international journey has allowed us to grasp various musical trends, understand our customers’ needs and to better connect one with the other.
Today, Barnum is here to offer this unique expertise.

Barnum is a music creation studio born from our common experience as composers, publishers and music supervisors.
NICOLAS CLERGUE
A 2nd Prize Winner in Triangle at the Saint-Maur-des-Fossés International Music Conservatory, Nicolas studied Classical music. Then, he discovered the British band Jamiroquai, and traded his piano with an electric bass. He started playing with Funk and Rock bands, while working as a sound engineer in Music, Radio and TV studios. He met Bastien at NRJ radio station. They instantly connected as friends and musicians and together they co-founded BAM Music in 2011.
BASTIEN DESHAYES
Raised by the French Touch, Bastien started DJing until one day he discovered he could write his own material rather than spinning other people’s music in nightclubs. He shortly began working as a composer for different media such as TV. At the same time he worked as a sound engineer at NRJ radio station, where he met Nicolas. They instantly connected as friends and musicians. Together they co-founded BAM Music in 2011.
